Wild Building Contractors (WBC) was an outgrowth of Wild Construction, a residential construction company owned by J.C. Wild that established an excellent reputation in the residential construction industry in Tennessee. In 1984, J.C. Wild and his sons, David and Tim, incorporated Wild Building Contractors. The company originally focused on obtaining small renovation and construction projects for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As WBC grew, its primary objective became to acquire long-term contracts with HUD.

Over the company’s history, WBC, Inc. has elevated its expertise and success in construction and renovation to expand into additional markets including: military, educational, commercial and municipal. The company has also expanded its geographic focus to include construction work in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina including 26 U.S. Postal facilities in four southeastern states.
